SUMMARY:Ayia Napa Marathon
DESCRIPTION:A running event that gives runners from Cyprus and abroad the opportunity to end their running year in perfect conditions. The course is challenging for the Half Marathon taking athletes through the main streets of the town and out to the most iconic Cape Greco Natural Park\, while it remains fast and mostly flat for the 10k and 5k course. Opening the Christmas season of the Municipality of Ayia Napa\, the Fun Run offers people the opportunity to run or walk in festive costumes and contribute to charity which is the main cause of this part of the event. DESCRIPTION:10km Race at Athalassa National Park organised by Dro.Me.A Racing \nThe race will start at 10:00 am at the Athalassa National Forest Park (200m from the park entrance near the roundabout of Nicosia General Hospital). Registrations will ONLY be possible online through the Club’s website www.dromearacing.com/races and will close automatically on Wednesday  1/12/2021. At the same time\, participants who register until 24/11/2021 (midnight) will have the opportunity to collect their race numbers from an ACS COURIER shop of their choice while their name will be printed on their BIB. \nThe participation fee is 10 Euros (eligible for 15 years old and over).  The participation fee is refundable ONLY if the event is cancelled. \nParticipants who register after 24/11/2021 will be able to collect their race numbers on the race day between 08:00 – 09:30 am. All participants will receive a finishing medal and a gift. Prizes will be given to the first 3 men and 3 women.

SUMMARY:Sea-to-Sky Trail Ultra
DESCRIPTION:Introducing an exciting new event on the Cyprus trail running calendar – the Sea-to-Sky Trail Ultra.\nThe ultra will start at midnight on Friday November 19/Saturday 20 on the beach at Alaminos and then head across the hills and mountains up to the highest point on the Troodos mountain range\, before dropping down to finish at the Jubilee Hotel in Troodos Total distance is 130.7 km\, elevation gain 6\,230m+\nWe will offer three separate races on November 20\, 2021\, each with its own distinctive characteristics:\n\n1. Sea-to-Sky Extreme. Runners cover the entire distance within a 32-hour period. We have been awarded 5 UTMB points for this race\, which has also been listed as a UTMB World Series 100 miler qualifier.\nThe route follows pathways and tracks — and some asphalt when it goes through picturesque mountain traditional villages. The course is an exciting tour of rural Cyprus\, taking in wheat fields\, vineyards\, orchards\, river courses\, tracks alongside dams\, a pilgrimage site\, historical UNESCO buildings\, forests\, mountain pathways and goat tracks.\nIt traverses four peaks: Kionia\, Papoutsa\, Madari and Shionistra (Mt Olympus)\n2. Sea-to-Sky Relay: Teams of up to five cover the 130km route\, with changeover points about every 25-30km. The race will start at the same time as the extreme ultra.\n3. Middle Earth to Sky Challenge. Starting at Palaichori and following the second-half route of the ultra\, this is a 54km separate race that will take place on the same day as the extreme and relay races (November 20). Starting time is 7am with an 11-hour cut-off time. It traverses three peaks: Papoutsa\, Madari\, and Shionistra (Mt Olympus). We have been awarded 3 UTMB points for this race\, and it has been listed as a qualifier for the UTMB World Series 50km challenge.\nThe route has been tracked on a Garmin Fenix 6 Pro\, generously provided by Garmin Cyprus.\nEntries for all races will open in September — date to be announced.\n\nFacebook Event

DESCRIPTION:Lefkara Country Run \n \nΗμέρα και Ώρα\n\nΟ αγώνας θα πραγματοποιηθεί στις 30/10/2021 και ώρα 08:00. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nΔικαίωμα Συμμετοχής\n\nΓια να συμμετάσχει κάποιος στον αγώνα Lefkara Country Run θα πρέπει να έχει τουλάχιστον συμπληρώσει το 18ο έτος της ηλικίας του κατά την ημέρα διεξαγωγής του αγώνα. \nΌλοι οι δρομείς τρέχουν με δική τους ευθύνη και καμία ευθύνη δεν φέρουν οι διοργανωτές. \nΤο τρέξιμο όπως όλα τα αθλήματα με έντονη σωματική δραστηριότητα πιθανό να εμπεριέχει κινδύνους. \nΣυμβουλευτείτε τον γιατρό σας προτού πάρετε απόφαση να συμμετέχετε στον αγώνα. \n\nΚόστος συμμετοχής 20 ευρώ για τον αγώνα 23 χιλιόμετρα  και 15 ευρώ για τον αγώνα 13 χιλιόμετρα.\nΤο δικαίωμα συμμετοχής δεν μεταβιβάζεται και δεν επιστρέφεται.\nΌσοι τερματίσουν θα πάρουν αναμνηστικό μετάλλιο το οποίο σχεδιάστηκε ειδικά για την εκδήλωση.\nΈπαθλα στις τρις πρώτες γυναίκες και τρις πρώτους άντρες των δυο διαδρομών (23 και 13 χιλιομέτρων).\nΗ χρονομέτρηση θα είναι ηλεκτρονική.\nΗ διαδρομή χωματόδρομος και άσφαλτος  με 800μ θετική υψομετρική διάφορα για τον αγώνα 23 χιλιόμετρα και 435μ θετική υψομετρική διάφορα για τον αγώνα 13 χιλιόμετρα.\nΣημείο  εκκίνηση θα είναι η πλατεία του δήμου Λευκάρων.\nΣταθμοί τροφοδοσίας με νερό: Ανά 4 περίπου χιλιόμετρα και στον τερματισμό.\nΑσθενοφόρο: θα βρίσκεται στο χώρο της εκδήλωσης.\n\n

DESCRIPTION:ALPHAMEGA RUN AS ONE is an annual event\, part of the “Child\, Nutrition & Health” program of ALPHAMEGA Hypermarkets. \nThe event\, which is organized in collaboration with the Cyprus Dietetic & Nutrition Association\, aims to promote the importance of healthy eating habits and regular exercise for children. \nALPHAMEGA RUN AS ONE returns for the 6th year on Friday 22nd October 2021\, and due to the safety measures taken for the protection of public health\, the race\, will be held virtually – like last year. \nALPHAMEGA VIRTUAL RUN AS ONE 2021 is coming soon and invites runners of all ages to participate from anywhere they like! \nThe racing distances are as follows: Individual 21K (Half-Marathon)\, Corporate Teams Run 5K\, Individual Run 5K\, 1K Fun Run for children and parents\, and Individual Run 10K\, which was last year’s new addition! \nAll net revenues from the races’ participations are offered so that children between 9 and 12 years old can have a personalized nutrition plan\, based on their individual needs\, following visits made to members of the Cyprus Dietetic & Nutrition Association free of charge. \nFor a second year in a row\, we run together virtually\, for our children’s wellbeing! \nLOCATION \nAnywhere. In Cyprus or abroad. \nRUNNING TIME \nAny between the 22th and the 31st of October. \nAGE LIMIT OF PARTICIPANTS \nIndividual 21K (Ηalf -Marathon) runners are required to be eighteen (18) years old or over\, while 5K runners and 10K runners are required to be aged fourteen (14) years or over.\nKids that are aged four (4) years or over can take part in the 1K FUN RUN. \n RESULTS \nThis year there will not be any winners and all runners will be sent a medal.\nThe results will be displayed on the runners’ personal page\, where they will share their times. \nPARTICIPATION FEE \nParticipation fee is €7 for the race’s individual runs and €100 for the Corporate Teams Run 5K. Kids up to 12 years old participated in 1K Fun Run for free.
