DESCRIPTION:More info & Registrations \n\nDetailed Instructions of Participation\n\nStart Time: 08.30am\n\nAge Limit for Participation\nIn order for anyone to be eligible to participate in the Half Marathon Race\, he/she needs to be at least 18 years old (born in 2004 or older). \nSpecial Conditions for Participation due to COVID-19 \nThe right to register and participate in the races of the 2022 Athens Half Marathon event\, have the runners with a valid* COVID-19 Vaccination or Recovery Certificate until the day of the race. \n* The validity of COVID-19 Certificates is based on the guidelines of the Greek State and the National Public Health Organization. \n\nBEFORE THE RACE \n \nBefore leaving your residency \nBefore leaving your residency make sure that you have the following: \n• Race Bib and safety pins (timing chip is embedded in the race bib) \n• Kit bag with the race bib sticker stamped on\, clearly visible. \nClothing Management\n \nParticipants should put any additional clothing in the kit bag they will receive along with their race bib at the Athens Half Marathon EXPO\, which will be hosted at Technopolis City of Athens (for more information about the event’s EXPO click here)\n \nRunners should leave their kit bag at the identified area on Amalias Avenue (Zappeion Megaro entrance)\, at least 20 minutes before the Start. Right after their finish runners may collect back their kit bag from the same area assisted by volunteers\, presenting their race bib. \nATTENTION: All kit bags need to have the runner’s race bib sticker stamped on\, clearly visible. All bags should be well closed. Please make sure that your kit bag does not contain any travel documents\, jewelry\, money or medicines. The Organizing Committee bears no responsibility in case of loss or damage of any valuable items in the bags. \nAny bags that are not collected after the end of the race are stored at the Athens Marathon Office (SEGAS) for a period of 15 days. After this time the bags and their contents are discarded. \nArriving at the Start \nRunners need to be at the Start area at least half an hour before the start of their block. After 05.00am no vehicles circulation will be allowed anywhere in the city centre of Athens. \nThe Organizing Committee is recommeding to all runners the use of METRO for their transportation to the race area and according to the instruction given to them via email one week before the race. \nWarm-up Area\n \nRunners may warm up on Amalias Avenue\, behind the Start area (towards Syggrou Avenue). \nStarting Blocks\n \nAll runners need to take their place behind the start line at least 15 minutes before the start of the Race. \nAll runners are allocated in ten (10) different starting blocks according to their bib number. A “Wave start” system is implemented\, while ten (10) different “wave starts” are given. \nAthletes competing in the National Hellenic Championship will be allocated in the first starting line. \nRunners are alllocated in starting blocks according to the best finish time they achieved during the years 2018 – 2022\, as stated by them in their entry form and checked by the SEGAS Marathon Office. Runners who haven’t indicated a finish time on their entry form are automaticly allocated in one of the last two blocks.

DESCRIPTION:More info and registrations \nΟ πρώτος αγώνας του 2023 δεν μπορούσε να ήταν άλλος από τον Amiantos – Troodos Geopark Trail. Ένας μοναδικός αγώνας – με την ελπίδα ότι κι’ εφέτος θα διεξαχθεί μέσα στα χιόνια όπως και πέρυσι – που είναι σχεδιασμένος για τους έμπειρους και απαιτητικούς δρομείς αλλά και για δρομείς που προτιμούν σύντομες και γρήγορες διαδρομές. Ο αγώνας ξεκινά από το κέντρο του χωριού Κάτω Αμίαντος ή Αμίαντος στις 09:00 π.μ. και οι δρομείς κατά τη διάρκεια του αγώνα θα απολαύσουν την πανέμορφη γραφικότητα σε συνδυασμό με την απαράμιλλη ομορφιά και θέα της δασώδους περιοχής\, τα κακοτράχαλα μονοπάτια του Τροόδους. Η διαδρομή συνδυάζει κατά την έξοδο και την είσοδο στο χωριό ασφάλτινη διαδρομή\, δασικούς δρόμους με ανηφορικές και επίπεδες διαδρομές καθώς και μονοπάτι όπου θα απαιτηθεί τεχνικό τρέξιμο. Στη διαδρομή θα υπάρχουν σταθμοί ανεφοδιασμού και θα προσφέρεται νερό\, ροδόνερο και φρούτα. Ο αγώνας ανήκει στη σειρά XM Charity Trail Series \, μια σειρά από τρεις καινούριους φιλανθρωπικούς αγώνες ορεινού τρεξίματος\, που γίνετε για πρώτη φορά στο νησί. \nΔύο διαφορετικοί αγώνες ορεινού τρεξίματος θα διεξαχθούν στις 18 Δεκεμβρίου\, ένας αγώνας ορεινού τρεξίματος 7χλμ για τολμηρούς δρομείς που θέλουν να δοκιμάσουν τις δυνατότητες τους στο βουνό\, και ένας αγώνας 20χλμ για έμπειρους και παθιασμένους δρομείς ορεινού τρεξίματος. Και οι δύο αγώνες έχουν υψηλό βαθμό δυσκολίας και επικινδυνότητας και δεν συνιστώνται για αρχάριους δρομείς. \nΟ αγώνας διεξάγετε υπό την αιγίδα της Κυπριακής Ομοσπονδίας Ορειβασίας\, Αγωνιστικής Αναρρίχισης\, και Προσανατολισμού και η διαδρομή των 20χλμ είναι εγκεκριμένη από την Παγκόσμια Ομοσπονδία Skyrunning ISF.\n \nΓια λόγους καλύτερης και ασφαλέστερης διοργάνωσης η συμμετοχή θα περιοριστεί στους 100 δρομείς στον αγώνα των 20χλμ και στους 150 δρομείς στον αγώνα των 7χλμ. Δικαίωμα συμμέτοχης έχουν μόνο άτομα άνω το 18 χρονών χωρίς εξαιρέσεις. Εγγραφές για τους δύο αγώνες μπορούν να γίνουν μόνο διαδικτυακά. Την ίδια μέρα θα διεξαχθεί παιδικός αγώνας διασκέδασης 500μ για παιδάκια 6-12 χρόνων και οι εγγραφές θα γίνονται επιτόπου.

DESCRIPTION:Πληροφορίες και εγγραφές  \nThe last trail event of the trail series for 2022; it will take place on Sunday December 4th 2022. Starting point is the Lythrodontas village central square. Runners will enjoy the overwhelming hospitality of the Community Council offering breakfast during the BIB collection and be challenged by the steep slopes of the Kionia mount and Kakodjiefalos trail\, while enjoying the beautiful picturesque. \n\n\n \n\n\nThe event comprises 2 races\, the 11km Lythrodontas TrailRun 4 Fun designed for beginners and runners that love fast racecourses with average difficulty level. The 32km Lythrodontas Trail is purposely designed for experienced demanding trail runners that challenge themselves in rough terrain and steep slopes. The races start at 07:00 am and the BIB and timing chip collection will be done at the village central square between 05:30 – 06:30 am the day of the event. The first 50 runners to register will receive the Lythrodontas Trail Limited Edition technical t-shirt. \nRegistrations will commence on Tuesday November 1st and finish on Saturday December 3rd 2022. \n\n\n \nThe event will take place at Lythrodontas village. Lythrodontas (Greek: Λυθροδόντας) is a village located in the Nicosia District of Cyprus. It is 31 kilometres outside Nicosia. Lythrodontas is built on the foothill of the mountain region of Machairas and is covered by the green colour of the olive groves. The meaning of the name of the village Lythrodontas has two variants of the same version. According to a document in the community council of the village\, it is reported that Lythrodontas derives its name from the first settler of the village called “Erythrodonta” because he had red teeth. A variant of this version is that Erythrodonta was as a landowner of the area\, whom\, over the years people started to call him Lythrodonta. So the area got its name from him. Taking a walk in the village you can see the main church of Lythrodontas which is dedicated to Saint Therapon. In addition\, there is the church of Archangel Michael\, the church of Agios Georgios\, the church of Panagia and the church of Agios Nikolaos. In the southwest of Lythrodontas stands an old monastery of Prophet Elias\, which today (2018) is owned by Machairas.

H βασική διαδρομή είναι μήκους 10\,49χλμ και θα επαναληφθεί δύο φορές από τους δρομείς του Ημιμαραθωνίου (21\,098χλμ). \nΈπαθλα και δώρα θα δοθούν στους τρεις πρώτους νικητές στις κατηγορίες ανδρών και γυναικών του Ημιμαραθωνίου και Ατομικού Δρόμου 10χλμ και 5χλμ\, ενώ θα βραβευτούν και οι τρεις πρώτες εταιρείες του Εταιρικού Δρόμου 5χλμ. \nΤο κόστος συμμετοχής ορίζεται ως ακολούθως: \n– Ημιμαραθώνιος: €12 \n– Ατομικός Δρόμος 10χλμ & 5χλμ: €12 \n– Εταιρικός Δρόμος 5χλμ: €200 / εταιρεία (μέχρι 20 άτομα*) \n* Για συμμετοχές πέραν των 20 ατόμων\, το κόστος ανά επιπλέον άτομο ανέρχεται στα €5. \nΌλοι οι συμμετέχοντες 12 χρόνων και άνω\, λαμβάνουν δωρεάν με την εγγραφή τους: μια συλλεκτική φανέλα του αγώνα (με εξαίρεση τον Εταιρικό Δρόμο)\, προσωπικό αριθμό συμμετοχής\, αναμνηστικό μετάλλιο και chip χρονομέτρησης (με εξαίρεση τον Δρόμο 1χλμ). \nΠαιδιά συμμετέχουν δωρεάν. \nΤα παιδιά μεταξύ 4-12 ετών μπορούν να δηλώσουν συμμετοχή τη μέρα του αγώνα (απαραίτητη προσέλευση μία ώρα πριν από την εκκίνηση). Τα παιδιά θα πάρουν δίπλωμα συμμετοχής\, καθώς και φρούτα από τις Υπεραγορές ΑΛΦΑΜΕΓΑ\, ενώ θα υπάρχουν και πολλές εκπλήξεις. Τα παιδιά 4 – 8 ετών θα πρέπει ΥΠΟΧΡΕΩΤΙΚΑ να συνοδεύονται από τον γονιό ή τον κηδεμόνα τους.\nΟι συμμετοχές θα υποβάλλονται ηλεκτρονικά μέσω της ιστοσελίδας www.runasone.eu και στα κέντρα εξυπηρέτησης των Υπεραγορών ΑΛΦΑΜΕΓΑ σε όλη την Κύπρο. SUMMARY:Sea to Sky
DESCRIPTION:The Sea-to-Sky Trail Ultra \nThe ultra will start on the beach at Alaminos and then head across the hills and mountains up to the highest point on the Troodos mountain range\, before dropping down to finish at the Jubilee Hotel. Total distance is about 120-125km (still being mapped out)\, elevation gain 5500m+ \nRaces: \n\n1. Sea-to-Sky Extreme. Runners cover the entire distance within a 28-30 hour period. \n2. Sea-to-Sky ‘Tourist’ Challenge. Runners cover the entire distance over two days\, overnighting at around the halfway mark and continuing to the finish line the next day. A runner’s times for each day will be added together to determine overall times. \n3. Sea-to-Sky Relay: Teams of up to five with changeover points about every 25-30km. This will be part of the extreme race. \n4. Three Peaks Challenge. Starting at Palaichori and following the route of the ultra\, this is a +-55km standalone race that will take place on November 21. It traverses three peaks: Papoutsa\, Madari and Shionistra (Mt Olympus). \nMore Information
